Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tightener who was a part of the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is one of the NFL's most successful tight ends and the third best overall receiver, he has been ranked as the NFL's leading tight end in terms of yards received, receptions made, etc.
Tony Gonzalez, former All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs as well as Atlanta Falcons, is currently working in FOX's Studio. Gonzalez has appeared as a guest on FOX NFL KICKOFF (FOX's one-hour NFL pregame program preceding FOX NFL SUNRISE), which is broadcast every Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET through the NFL season.
Gonzalez resigned with the Falcons on the 15th of March 2013 for a contract that was worth 14 million dollars over two years. He did this in spite of his claims that he was retiring at the end of the season. After the departure of Randy Moss, 37-year-old Gonzalez spent his last season as the leader of the NFL's active players in yards receptive.
